The Quantas flight to Melbourne, which suffered a hole in its fuselage and rapid decompression, may have been been damaged by a faulty oxygen cylinder. The ATSB has confirmed that there is one unaccounted for oxygen cylinder from the bank of cylinders that are located in the area of the fuselage hole. Ryanair has announced substantial flight cuts at Stansted Airport for the winter schedule. Aircraft numbers will be reduced from 36 to 28, while weekly flights will be cut from over 1,850 per week to under 1,600. Read the rest of this entry »
